Holy Disruptor – Change Manager – Preacher – Teacher – Advocate

Rev. Dr. Kris Watson is a nationally recognized leader in justice, conflict resolution, and spiritual transformation. With a background as an Attorney at Law, mediator, facilitator, and ordained minister, she weaves together legal expertise, theological insight, and community-building to foster meaningful change.
A graduate of Vassar College, Fordham University School of Law, and New York Theological Seminary, Rev. Dr. Kris has served as an Assistant District Attorney, worked in private legal practice, and trained leaders across the country in conflict resolution and racial equity.
Her work is rooted in the belief that the hierarchy of human value must be dismantled—that justice and healing require not only knowledge but deep relational transformation. She leads with humor, persistence, and love, creating spaces where difficult but necessary conversations lead to lasting change.
As the founder of Nurturing Justice, her work is rooted in communities that take action toward equity and justice. She formed The Transformational Remnant, an online spiritual multi-dimensional space committed to resilience and radical love.
Kris is a contributing author to the book Antiblackness and the Stories of Authentic Allies: Lived Experiences in the Fight Against Institutionalized Racism
